“Hmph. So you will still help them? Such dedication…” the droid shrugged, not really care about the angel’s saying. He may kept helping the humans as he wanted, it was the angel’s job after all. Dietrich had to respect his job, even he could see the sad face that Raziel made just now. It must be hard for the angel to keep protecting the humans which didn’t have any faiths anymore.
“My purpose?” Dietrich didn’t answer it right away, thus looking up at the sky for a brief moment. “A killing machine, to be exact. Sometimes a information dealer. Either way, I am just a tool for humans.”
Raziel was still dejected, almost depressed. His existence had lost meaning, or at least that’s how it felt. Golden eyes remained on the android, waiting for his response.
A “killing machine” was the last thing he expected, really.
The angel nearly jumped to his feet and struck down Dietrich then and there, suddenly viewing him as a threat to the angel race. “A what?” He echoed in disbelief. The angel did rise from the bench then, staring at the other with an almost scared expression. “Are you a war machine? Do these humans plan on waging war? How are they so content with killing one another?” There was tears in his eyes. The hosts’ emotions were overwhelming Raziel, but he didn’t understand it.
