“Huh…”
The droid looked at the other man, still standing there and crossing his arms. As Raziel moved a little to give a space on the bench, Dietrich noticed that he was invited to join and sit beside the angel. A light sigh before he finally sat down there, turning his focus to the blond again. Red eyes blinked once upon hearing the last question he got from Raziel.
“Faith? For what reason do I have to have such thing?” he responded. “I do not believe such thing as angel or demon does exist. Perhaps the humans did believe, yet I am not a human after all.”
Raziel seemed to perk up once Dietrich sat beside him. Golden eyes were fixed on Dietrich intently, waiting for his answer. It wasn’t what he wanted to hear though - he ended up frowning lightly. “I… see…,” Raziel spoke softly while looking away from the android.
“I suppose… humans think I am something of a myth?” He looked at the android again, conflicted. “Maybe… I shouldn’t introduce myself the way I did with you…”

“Teach you…?”
Somehow it turned out to be a less expected thing for the droid. An angel, who seemed not knowing anything about the human world, asking an android to teach him about humans. Just like a curious little human child who knows nothing, he must admit. The droid wasn’t really sure if this angel asked the right person to teach him about human.
“…what do you want to know?” he sighed.
Raziel did know all about the humans. History wise. However, when it came to how they spoke to one another, had all these unwritten laws of “people skills” and “personal space” or what they did for fun or whatever else… he was lost. It was odd to him, really. And the fact didn’t sit well with him. He wanted to learn, to know more about the race he was trying to save.
“Anything,” Raziel admitted with a head tilt. He even made effort to scoot over on the bench, allowing the android to sit next to him. “For example… why did you not believe me when I said I was an angel of the Lord? Do you not have faith, Dietrich?”

The Messenger
Naberius froze; pushing the loud, obnoxious woman that had been riding him for the last half hour or so without so much as a satisfied sound to come from the demon, off of him. He ignored her yelps and complaints, pulling up his boxer briefs.
“Do what you want with her — kill her for all I care.” A hand waved casually, demons of all sorts suddenly appearing and swarming her while he shut the door behind him to dull out the sounds of her terrified and agonized screams.
A presence was at his front gate. One he knew all too well, one he wished he’d never have to sense again. He cursed, gritting his teeth. Had he gotten too careless with himself? Let his guard down and presented himself on a silver platter? All of these possibilities ran through his mind, edging closer to the door until he was able to grasp the knob and open it.
“What do you want?” He seethed, glaring daggers at the lower ranking demon.
A shiver of pleasure ran up his spine - that poor bitch. Being mangled to death so easily. What a weak race.
Apollyon was still leaning on the door frame, that grin never leaving his face, even under Naberius’s piercing glare. It was so sweet to feel like he had an edge above the higher ranking demon. Though it wouldn’t last, he was sure, but he relished in the feeling nonetheless.
“Aw, is that anyway to great your ‘brother,’ Naberius?” He cooed with a smirk. His eyes narrowed a moment later before pushing himself off the door frame, taking a step towards the other demon.
“I come here only bearing a message. Why don’t you invite me inside?”

Dietrich blinked a few times, didn’t really expect the angel would be this timid. A total opposite from the Barnaby he knew. The droid actually didn’t really mad about it, just felt annoyed a little. It’s not an usual thing for him to be touched and examined by a stranger like Raziel.
“Kind of, although I do not think that you mean any harms to me.” Dietrich sighed, crossing his arms while staring at the blond angel. “—I supposed you do not have to apologize like that. Or perhaps…you should asked a permission first before doing it again next time. That would be better.”
Raziel gave a nod of his head with a heavy sigh. He made a mental note of this - don’t touch someone unless you have permission. His eyes flickered back up to look at the android, tilting his head again.
“You seem more knowledgeable on…,” he paused for the word he was looking for, “… ‘people skills.’ Would it be an inconvenience for you to teach me more…?”

The droid narrowed his eyes, felt annoyed and confused at the same time. This probably the first time that someone was actually touching and examining Dietrich like this. Raziel looked like a curious, innocent little kid rather than an adult on the droid’s eyes.
But maybe it’s understandable, since Dietrich thought maybe there’s no such thing as a machine or even android on Raziel’s so-called Heaven. And it was a rare thing as well for having an android who looked, talked, and even thought like a real human like Dietrich. Even a normal human would be surprised.
“…are you done with your examination, angel?”
Raziel jumped at Dietrich’s tone of voice. He pulled his hands back then, fixing his eyes back on the ground in a seemingly embarrassed manner. Unsure of what to do with himself, he folded his hands in his lap and lowered his head. There was a brief moment of pause, he was unsure of what to say.
“Did I… bother you?” Raziel questioned while biting onto his lower lip. He was still trying to get used to acting around people, let alone an android. “I am… sorry if I made you… feel uncomfortable.”

The droid hated to admit that he was created by humans, the only thing he disliked in this world. Not only created by also used by them, although he was `free` for a time being since the incident a few years ago in Sternbild City. Red eyes blinked once as the other man reached his hand to Dietrich. A slight of curiosity showed on those yellow eyes, the droid can see that clearly.
“I am android A-01, yet you may call me by the name Dietrich. That is my assigned name,” he answered, didn’t mind on whatever Raziel wanted to do. “I do not possess such thing as `soul`, for I am not really `alive` like a normal human does. I am just a man-made machine, even though I had an appearance like a human.”
“Dietrich…,” Raziel repeated while grabbing onto the android’s vest. He slid his fingers up, touching the android’s chest, where a heart would be located on a human. No soul, huh? Raziel gave a slightly knowing smile, sensing something more than just hardware and circuitry within the android.
His eyebrows furrowed then as he reached up to grab onto Dietrich’s hair, giving it a tug, just a like a curious child would. His other hand started poking at exposed skin, looking awestruck at how closely Dietrich was to a human. Raziel didn’t understand the concept of “personal space.”
“This is… stunning,” he breathed, “You’re just like a human…”

The droid was quite surprised with those wound that the man had all this time. Dietrich knew that a normal human won’t be able to restraint such injury. Crimson eyes watched the blond attentively, without a single blink. Slowly, the wounded side was restored into its original shape. At first he thought that maybe this ‘Barnaby’ has the ability to heal himself. But he didn’t any blue light that usually emerged when a NEXT was using the power.
As if it was just his natural ability for the very first.
“I supposed I do not have any choice but to `believe` what I saw just before, Raziel…was it not?” the droid didn’t really say anything more than a simple answer to the blond angel. “…I was created by humans. A machine, to be exact.”
The blond seemed satisfied that the android believed him now. He slumped back onto the park bench, suddenly looking exhausted as his shoulders slumped forwards. Raziel grabbed his shirt and put it back on slowly, adding to the image of him looking like a mess.
Electric eyes lifted up hesitantly, to look at the android. Curiosity was getting the best of him. A machine? The blond tilt his head then, his features perking up as he leaned towards the other. There was a million questions he suddenly wanted to ask.
“A… machine? What can you do? Do you have a name?” His hand reached for the other now, trying to grab onto him. “Do you… have a soul?”

If he said that he wasn’t Barnaby Brooks Jr., that’s acceptable. But said that he was an angel of Lord? The droid raised his eyebrow, narrowing his eyes in disbelief manner. Dietrich was encountered something like this before, but he didn’t know that there’s some other angels as well.
“No. I am not a human.” The droid admitted. He walked closer again to see a better look of the man. Seriously, he was really just like Barnaby. But with different colors on his hair and eyes, as well as different personality. It’s hard to believe that a supernatural being like angels did exist. “Who are you, then? And what are you doing in here, alone?”
It was almost a personally switch once Dietrich seemed doubtful. He was tired of it. The human emotion of anger swelled in him.
“I see you do not believe me,” Raziel pointed out with a frown, “Perhaps I should prove it…” And with that, the angel finally stood up from the park bench, his eyes narrowed. The blond moved his hands to peal off the mangled black shirt, showing the true damage of the gash in his side. The shirt was soaked in crimson as he dropped it on the bench, his pale flesh stained red. It looked unlikely a mere human should be on their feet with such a wound, or even talking -
Nimble fingers brushed over the wound again, and with a sizzling sound and a soft flash of white, the skin started to peel back together and mend. It took a moment to register, but the angel was healing himself, and soon enough the wound was gone. The blond dropped his hands then, letting the remaining blood drip from them.
“Do you believe me now? I am Raziel, angel of the Lord. And I am here to save this world from impending doom.” His eyes narrowed again, trying to determin if Dietrich was a threat. “Are you one of my brothers or something the… humans made?”
